- How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
- Took a recent transition training in Summertown, TN. Reading Rob Hopkins' book now. Want to help create movement in Nashville (bought a domain for "transitionnashville.org). I'll be creating a power point with materials from training. I also host a local access environmental cable show, "Earth Revolution", which will be focusing on this issue in 2010.
- In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
- Even without the very real, combined implications of peak oil and climate change, there is a tremendous need for change in communities throughout the country, where centralized finance, outsourced jobs, loss of small businesses, skill and cultural degradation, industrialized farming, rising energy costs, massive transport costs and other issues are wreaking havoc on families, individuals and the environment. It's time to get seriously creative in visioning and manifesting a more just and livable, post-carbon, post-petroleum, community based society and reclaiming our individual and collective power to make better choices.
- How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?
- By co-creating and sharing this vision with others, and by helping to organize and coordinate local efforts.

- Right now, it's the "Transition Handbook" and website (www.transitionus.org) that are the most useful, as I'm still just a toddler in all this.

- The above question re: skype has me a bit mystified 'cause, although I've recently heard of "skype"and should probably know, I have as of yet absolutely no idea what it is. So I'm adding "lsquiresskype" to my contact / address book? And then what?
