Profile Information
- How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
- I am on the initiating committee of Transition Hohenwald and Lewis County, and I work at The Farm Ecovillage Training Center where I facilitate learning and unlearning immersed in transition culture.
I participated in the first Training for Transition on the east coast of the US in October, 2008, in Portland, Maine.
- In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
- I see the transition movement as a unity of community organizing and individual healing built on an understanding of the universe as a living system, and I think that such a movement has the power to improve the wellbeing of our human and more-than-human community on a global scale.
- How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?
- I work at The Farm Ecovillage Training Center. We facilitate apprenticeships and host courses that support the transition movement. I am on the site committee for the 10 Continental Bioregional Congress and I look forward to connecting the transition movement with the bioregional movement from which it grew.
