I went to the link and sent e-mails to congressmen and senators, what more can we do? I never believed that just growing our own food and saving seeds could become a radical and illegal action.

Hi Pam. I was raised in Pulaski in Middle TN. My mother lives in Brentwood. I'm just getting involved with Transition Towns Karori (my local suburb in Wellington, NZ). I bought Rob's workbook on TT in the UK and have been keen to get involved locally. We're just about to have our first local meeting in the next two weeks. The city of Wellington has about 6 suburb groups formed and a city planning group as well. We have several local city councilors involved as well. NZ was the first country to take on TT outside the UK I believe so we've had over 2 years of involvement. I only found out about TT about 6 months ago. Very keen on the idea. I just want my mother to get involved if possible. She's no leader but she's got plenty of old knowledge from the 1960's and 70's when these ideas were first going around.

Cheers,
Charity
