Contact our elected, national representatives (using the link below), and let them know we believe in organic, sustainable, and highly diverse food sources. We are not interested in letting Monsanto sue small farmers out of existence, or using the...
I went to the link and sent e-mails to congressmen and senators, what more can we do? I never believed that just growing our own food and saving seeds could become a radical and illegal action.
How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I had never heard it called "Transition Movement" until this January 09. This is just the way we live normally. Our family goes the gamet with self sufficiency or "backyard" sustainability, from raising our own veggies and herbs for cooking and medicines, as well as trying to reduce our footprint as much as possible and teaching others what we have learned. We still have much to learn but we also have lots to share.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
It is the way we live currently and we would like to show others that you don't have to have fancy equipement or expensive solutions to being green or live self-sufficiently.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?
We are able to share our skills with others and show them how we live with Transition in mind.
